The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has announced recruitment for the post of Food Safety Officer (FSO) for 45 vacancies across the state. The selection will be based on a screening test, subject knowledge test, interview/viva‑voce, medical examination and document verification.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree in any of the following disciplines:

• Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology
• Agricultural Science, Veterinary Sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Medicine
• Medical qualifications such as MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, BAMS, Sowa Rigpa are also acceptable

Age limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 42 years as on 19‑Oct‑2026 (relaxations as per HPSC rules).

3. Upload scanned copies of required documents (photograph, signature, certificates, etc.).
4. Pay the application fee (Rs. 1000 for General/UR, Rs. 250 for reserved categories, Rs. 0 for PH).
5. Submit the application before 19‑Oct‑2026.
6. Print the confirmation page for future reference.

• General/UR (DESM) – Rs. 1000
• Reserved categories (OSC/DSC/BC‑A, BC‑B, ESM, EWS) – Rs. 250
• Physically Handicapped (PH) – Nil
