Punjab National Bank (PNB) has released the official notification for Local Bank Officer (LBO) Recruitment 2026, inviting online applications for 545 provisional vacancies across 17 states and union territories in the JMGS-I scale. Any graduate from a recognised university, aged between 20 and 30 years, can apply. Candidates must also be proficient in the local language of the state they are applying for, as the Local Language Proficiency Test is compulsory. Online registration starts on 20 July 2026 and closes on 09 August 2026. The tentative online test (wherever required) will be held in August or September 2026. Candidates can apply for only one state, and vacancies are provisional and subject to change.
